Black Soldier Fly Dark Cages

DARK CAGE
This cage is used to provide a closed environment for the pupae to emerge as flies. The cage is darkened so that flies will not directly start mating. Once you connect the dark cage with a Love Cage by connecting the tunnels, the emerged flies will fly towards the light (at the end of the tunnel) and end up in the Love Cage. You can harvest the flies once per day to ensure that all the flies harvested in the Love Cage have the same age and are ready to mate and produce eggs. The cage is produced from high quality materials combining a black thin fabric to provide the dark environment with a thick mesh material to provide structure once the cage is hanging. The tunnel has a layer of think mesh on the outside to give it even more structure. Dimensions: 140 cm x 70 cm x 150 cm.
